Cinnamon rolls are my absolute favorite pastry. And prior to Saturday, it had been over a year and a half since I had one (I hadn’t been able to find a bakery that made a gluten-free one in the Seattle area that didn’t taste strange), until I stumbled upon this great little bakery just below Pike Place Market. Enter: Coffee and Specialty Bakery.
Not only does the bakery have several other pastries aside from cinnamon rolls, but everything is gluten-free! For me this was an incredible find. Apparently they also serve lunch items as well, but I was there too early to take advantage of that. I will definitely be back. I have to admit the inside was pretty simple and it was fairly pricey, $5 for one cinnamon roll, but it was well worth the price.
The cinnamon roll looked so good I couldn’t resist and I ate one in the car. It was absolutely delicious. My husband, who isn’t gluten-free even ate one and loved it! If you’re ever in Seattle at Pike Place Market and looking for a great gluten-free pastry I highly recommend Coffee and Specialty Bakery. Where in Seattle do you go for gluten-free pastries?
